Boxers unleash their skills
Boxers from the South and Alberton will have the opportunity to showcase their skills.
SEVERAL young and upcoming boxers from the South and Alberton will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in the second edition of the Unleashed boxing tournament.
Unleashed boxing tournament will take place on June 29 at Presley’s Boksburg. The event will start at 7pm and the doors will open at 6pm.
“I am taking this opportunity to up my ranking as I need to focus on a title fight,” said Jason Bedeman from the South, who will be fighting out of the Manny Fernandes BRD boxing academy stable. He will take on prince Dlomo and predicted a KO in the fourth round of their welterweight bout.
Noteworthy is that Clement Kamanga, brother of Paul, who recently had a stint in the United Kingdom will also feature on the card. Kamanga will fight under the watchful eyes of Anton Gilmore and Raymond Cerfonteyn from Box Office.
Carlton, from the famous Malajika boxing family who trains at South Hills boxing club, will showcase his skills and will have lots of support from his family.
Also in the mix is promising heavyweight Shaun Potgieter, who has one fight to his credit recording it with a KO. Tumelo Matsane, Siya Mabena, Welcome Malumba, Fortune Muyumba, Richard van Tonder, Willis Baloyi, Onke Duke, Mark Farah, Paul Mangxilana, John Kanda, Mpoyi Sifiso and , Hlongwane Falay Kabeya will all be in action in their different divisions on the evening.
