There are just over two months to go to the first 100 Cycle Challenge, South Africa’s new 100km road race in the City of Ekurhuleni, and the excitement is building. If you have not yet entered the race, now’s the time to do so.
The 100 Cycle Challenge, together with Cycle Lab, is giving away a KTM Revelator 3300 carbon road bike worth R30 000 to one lucky cyclist who enters the race by March 31. Entry is online and costs R400 plus a R35 day licence.
The 100 Cycle Challenge takes place on May 6 and thereafter annually on the first Sunday in May. The race starts and ends at Germiston Lake. It is set to become the must-do race in autumn as it’s a fast, flat community route.
