Joburg teams shine at National Netball Championship

The City of Johannesburg hosted the SPAR National Netball Championship finals on December 7 at Ellis Park Arena.

The event was a thrilling showcase of netball talent, with Johannesburg teams claiming victory in the U21 and senior categories.

Johannesburg A emerged victorious in the U21 match, defeating Tshwane A with a score of 42-32. The senior category saw a nail-biting clash between Johannesburg A and Mangaung A, with Johannesburg A winning 53-52.

The victories marked a proud moment for the City of Johannesburg, with Jane Nwahlengani Mbombi, chairperson of the Johannesburg Netball Association (JNA), praising the teams’ discipline and hard work.
