Glosense to host inclusive community event in South Hills
Glosense will host a free 5km fun walk and a 15km walk/run in South Hills to promote health, inclusion and community unity.
Glosense, a community-based NGO in SA, will host a 5km fun walk and a 15km walk/run at the Fever Tree block 12 parking lot in South Hills on December 14.
Entry is free for all participants. T-shirts will cost R50 each; however, pensioners and people with disabilities will receive theirs for free.
The event aims to promote fitness, inclusion and community wellness, welcoming participants of all ages and abilities, including those in wheelchairs and those walking with pets.
It also encourages health, social inclusion and community engagement while supporting Glosense’s ongoing programmes for the elderly and vulnerable in the community.
Glosense is appealing for sponsorships or donations to make the event a success and welcomes contributions such as refreshments, medical support, sound systems, tents and branded items.
Sponsors will benefit from brand visibility, public recognition on Glosense’s social media platforms, a donation tax certificate for eligible contributions and the opportunity to support the NGO’s mission of uplifting local communities.
Glosense invites organisations to partner in making the event memorable. All relevant documents, including the NPO and tax certificates, are available for reference.
