Ethan spoke about his victory after the fight, “I worked hard, training was intensive, and I always had to keep my focus. I believed in my skills, and I’m proud of my victory. I thank my family, coaches and all those who supported me. I look forward to working hard in training for my next fight,” said Peters.

Boxing coach Manny Fernandes praised the performance, “I knew Ethan had talent, but he really put on a display tonight.”

Promoter Rodney Berman hailed the Survivor event as one of the most significant SA boxing nights in years, with every fight on the card capable of headlining on its own.

Peters is touted as the next big prospect in Gauteng heavyweight boxing. With an amateur record of 11-0, including 10 TKO wins, he is looking to make a statement in the professional ranks.
