The programme featured back-to-back sessions including high- and low-impact movements (HILO), dancing, and kickboxing, led by different trainers.

A highlight of the day was the Beep Test Challenge for men and women, with winners taking home prizes for endurance and performance.

“FieldFitness and AJ Fitness came together to bring the best out of everyone,” said Nxulalo.

“Young or old, everyone was welcome to come train with us, and the energy on the field showed exactly why community fitness matters.”

The turnout reflected growing interest in accessible, group fitness initiatives in Johannesburg’s eastern suburbs.

Participants enjoyed the day of activity and the fitness companies have more collaborative events planned for later in the year.
