His Majesty Services Family Church helps the needy

His Majesty church has started reaching out to the community and these two pastors started by donating household goods they do not use anymore or have not even used as yet.

Pastor Clive and his wife Hester donated a bakkie full of household items to the garage residents in Alberton North on August 17.

“We want our church to be full and we are trying to take beggars off the streets. We want to reach out to everybody and want to work with people who want to get involved,” said the Pastor.

On August 17, before he handed over the items, he spoke to the residents at the garages and said, “The church is God’s hand reaching out. The church wants to reach out in a Christian way.

“I encourage you to come to church and be given the chance to grow within the church and become part of a family.”

Pastor Clive said a prayer and gave the residents the opportunity to look through the things he brought. Items consisted of pots, candles, candle holders, blinds and clothes among other things.

Residents are so desperate and willing to work if they are given the opportunity. They are also in need of food, clothes, bedding, beds and toys for the children to play with.

The Pastor has said that he will be in charge of assisting these people to get jobs and will compile a list of the people’s job skills and experience.

The church said, “Everybody who is looking for a family, must come; everybody who is broken, must come; everybody who does not want to be judged, must come; everybody who wants to be accepted as they are, must come.”

Church services are held every Sunday morning at 09:00 at Steel and Pipe building, 66 Sixth Avenue, Alberton North. Pastor Clive also thanked Johan Malan from Steel and Pipe for everything he has done for the church and said he was great man.

If you have a job opportunity for any of the garage residents or would like to help in any way contact Pastor Clive 072 428 4882 or his wife Pastor Hester 073 306 9967.
