Fundraising golf day for St Mary’s Children’s Home

A fundraising golf day was held at Glenvista Country Club on Tuesday December 3 which was organised by Toni Mackrell (Seeff),Sonja Harmse (director of St Mary’s) and Marlané Bystydzienski.

GLENVISTA: “The golf day was organised last minute in order to raise much needed funds for the home for over the festive season. Due to a thunderstorm and heavy rain the day ended before it should have done as teams had to leave the golf course.

“Even so we managed to raise about R15 000 which will assist greatly with our Christmas costs,” said a delighted Sonja. Sonja thanked all those who played golf and those who sponsored holes and prizes.

“Thank you to all of you. Because of your generosity the children of St Mary’s will be able to enjoy their Christmas this year.”
