JOHANNESBURG – Following the runaway success of the first season, the cop-drama Traffic! returns to our screens next April  with a good dose of nostalgia.

This season’s casting is exceptional and viewers can expect nothing ordinary. For the faces that have had airtime on television, Traffic! 2 places them in completely unfamiliar territory and brings out a new dimension to their acting talent.

Detective Lungi (Bonnie Mbuli) and Songezo (Bongo Mbutuma) still play the lead cops who are on a mission to rid the streets of Cape Town of violent crimes. Our new cast gets entangled in Lungi and Songezo’s murder cases that involve victims that are young, women and pregnant.
