Booysens pedestrian accident leaves man injured

The seriously injured man was treated at the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.

A MAN was injured during a pedestrian accident on Beaumont Street in Booysens, on Thursday morning July 23.

Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found a man lying on the ground after he was knocked over by a minibus. Reports from the scene indicate that the man was knocked over by the minibus shortly after he exited another minibus he was travelling in.

Upon assessment of the twenty-seven-year-old man, paramedics found that he had sustained serious injuries during the pedestrian accident.

The seriously injured man was treated at the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.

Exact detail surrounding the cause of the pedestrian accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
