SAPS make 34 arrests

BOOYSENS – SAPS busted 34 suspects between Monday, August 24, and Sunday, August 30, for the following crimes:

n Armed robbery – one,

n Assault with grievous bodily harm – two,

n Contravention of liquor act – one,

n Contravention of the counterfeit goods act – three,

n Drunken driving – one,

n Fraud – one,

n Housebreaking and theft – three,

n Illegal immigrant – one,

n Malicious damage to property – one,

n Possession of drugs – six,

n Possession of stolen goods – four,

n Possession of stolen motor vehicle – one,

n Selling counterfeit goods – two,

n Shoplifting – two,

n Theft – four and

n Use of a motor vehicle without consent – one.
