Don’t draw large amounts of money from banks

Consult your bank to find out about other available options

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – After information was received from Michelle Pelser (Mondeor Community Policing Forum) about community members being followed from banks and then robbed, a warning goes out to residents to not draw large amounts of money from the bank.

“Residents are being followed from the bank once they have withdrawn a large amount of cash and then later robbed when they arrive home,” she said. Consider the convenience of paying your accounts electronically (consult your bank to find out about other available options), or make use of cell phone banking, internet transfers or ATMs to do your banking.
