We have exhausted all avenues to try to attain information, be it from the spokesperson of the Alberton Police Station, the station commander of the Alberton Police Station or the investigating officer assigned to the case.
According to the spokesperson, Captain Manare Ramotshela, he cannot supply any information until he receives the go-ahead from the provincial spokesperson.
As far as the COURIER is aware, once the body has been released after autopsy, the cause and estimated time of death should be available.
Ané’s funeral took place on Friday, November 11.
We will continue to press the authorities for details.
