Alberton Child Welfare donates to a good cause

With the help of donations received from the community, Alberton Child Welfare made a generous donation to Kasie Outreach on September 16.

Kasie Outreach, a faith-based community outreach programme, received pre-loved clothes, a stack of toys and shoes.

These will be handed over to needy families of Makause informal settlement. To date, more than 100 people have been assisted through the outreach programme in most underprivileged parts of Ekurhuleni.

Since its inception in 2018, it has continued to make a difference in the lives of others. With the help from communities, it has donated clothes and non-perishable food products.

Zeenith Domingo, director at the Alberton Child Welfare, said: “After seeing the Kasie Outreach Facebook page and the good work they do, I then decided to lend a helping hand. We thank everyone who donated to us and we are confident that this donation will land in the right hands.”
