Warrant of arrest for hostel resident

BRIGHTON Beach SAP has issued a warrant of arrest for the Jacobs Hostel resident who allegedly stabbed to death a friend on Sunday, 13 April.

Following a dispute in which the victim was accused of having an affair with his attacker’s girlfriend, a man was stabbed 14 times and died immediately. The killer has been identified as a 29-year-old Zwelethu Madiba and a warrant for his arrest has been issued.

Shortly after Madiba fled the scene, hostel residents set fire to the rooms belonging to him and his girlfriend.
