Lions partner with Angels to help new moms

The Lions Club volunteered their time to fill gift bags for new mothers and their babies as part of the Centre’s Mother’s Hope Project. “Angels of Mercy Care Centre is pleased to have the women of the Durban South Lions Club join them during their visits to the new mothers in the maternity ward at Wentworth Hospital. We are grateful to Lions president, Vanessa Wilesmith for her ongoing support to the Angels of Mercy Care Centre,” said director, Pat Bayley.

Vanessa Wilesmith said they plan on continuing their relationship with with Angels of Mercy. She said every baby is innocent and deserves a chance in life.
