Death of crèche member

WENTWORTH Crèche Forum (WCF) pays tribute to Dianne Davis, who recently died following a short battle against illness.

Dianne was a teacher and principal of Little People Crèche for 23 years and a valued member of the WCF. “She was always the first to arrive at meetings and would immediately help with whatever needed to be done. She was professional and would often be seen with a warm smile, irrespective of any challenges she may have faced. Dianne’s death is a huge loss to the WCF, and to the community of Wentworth as she was a seasoned and well-experienced crèche teacher,” said WCF chairman, Pearl Windvogel.

Fellow Little People Crèche teacher and close friend, Jenny Osborne said: “Dianne created a pleasant and thriving crèche environment. She had a beautiful, giving spirit and the unique ability to make myself and others feel better on bad days. To the children, she was their mother away from home, their teacher and nurse when they felt sick and they all feel a great loss without her.

The WCF salute Dianne and expresses heartfelt condolences to her family.- erinh@dbn.caxton.co.za
