Seniors to apply for rates rebate renewal

First time applicant forms available at Tray Bang Hall.

Ward 64 pensioners are reminded to renew their annual rates rebates applications by Wednesday, 30 April.

Once renewal forms have been received from the municipality, residents are able to hand the forms over to ward councillor, Billie Prinsloo who will take the forms to the rates department. Signed forms can be dropped off at the councillor’s office at Tray Bang Hall, 199 Kenyon Howden Road, Montclair.

Pensioners are also welcome to take the forms to the post office where they will be stamped and faxed to the relevant department.

They must be able to provide identification (ID book) and an utility bill. If the property is owned by more than one person, all the owners must be over the age of 60 and reside on the property.
