Unknown assailant stabs man in the back
20-year-old man dies of his wound in hospital.
A 20-year-old man sustained a fatal stab wound in the back, after he made a trip to a shop in Bale Avenue on Sunday, 2 March.
He and his friends were relaxing after a house party at a Woodlands home, when he decided to walk to the shop at about 6am. Inexplicably, the young man collapsed on the way back to the house. His friends attended to him and discovered he was bleeding. Emergency medical response was called and he was taken to hospital.
When he regained consciousness he was questioned as to what transpired, but the young man did not know who had stabbed him in the back. He died at King Edward Hospital on Monday, 3 March.
