Crèche volunteers sought
The Wentworth Crèche Forum is looking for volunteers for its early childhood development centres.
CRÈCHE volunteers are needed in Wentworth to help the Wentworth Crèche Forum (WCF) grow early childhood development (ECD) in the community into an award-winning model.
Several types of volunteers are needed to facilitate this aim. ECD teachers who have retired are needed to conduct peer reviews and mentor ECD practitioners.
People willing to volunteer their time in ECD centres, including educators, administrative staff or retired counsellors or social workers are needed. They are also looking for a retired nurse to monitor the Water, Sanitation, Health and Hygiene programme and a qualified play therapist to assist once-a-week with children in need of therapy.
