YWP WI gets busy for Easter
Congratulations to Gerda Viljoen a new member and already winning competitions.

YELLOWWOOD Park Women's Institute was very happy to have executive member, Maureen Lavis at its AGM.
A big thank you to Vanessa Wilesmith for standing as president and to Sharon Quail as vice president. The WI has a new committee member in Jan Kirk. All other members remain and the convenors are thanked again.
Vanessa gave her report for the year. It was amazing to note how fast the year has gone and how many charities the WI has been able to assist in a small way. The last AGM minutes and financial report were read. Once again the YWP WI members have been doing good deeds – firstly at the Outspan Residential Home, where they have been teaching craft to the residents and then at Botanic Gardens, for the WI's monthly visit and of course Meals on Wheels, where one WI member has been volunteering for 45 years.
The birthdays for April were Vanessa and Bev Holthausen. They were wished a happy day. Sharon Quail spoke about the fair which will be held in May at the bowling club grounds. After tea all members were making Easter baskets to be distributed locally. The raffles were drawn and the meeting closed with the women’s institute prayer, with members giving a special thought for Joyce Andrews.
