Cavanagh scores with lucky 81 at Wentworth BC
The club wishes Ina Davies and Eileen Du Plessis all the best at this year's women's nationals.

WENTWORTH Bowling Club did not play many competitions this week.
On Wednesday, 7 May, the family and friends fun bowls winners on a high low count out were Margaret Walters and Deon Els who had a +12.
The whisky raffle was won by Frank Greyvenstein and the biscuits went to Zoe Dougall and Ina Davies.
On Friday, 9 May, the men’s casual bowls first prize went to Jumbo Nel, Greg Mc Guiness and Brian Hollis with +11, while second prize went to Terry Micholson and Brian Deats on a count out with +8. The sportsman’s prize went to John Somerville and Robin de Gouveia.
In the meat raffles, the pork was won by Maria Cavanagh with 81, seemingly her special number, as you will see further down. The beef was won by Smiler (big smile) Wilesmith. The first 60/40 board draw was won by Kurt Spacil with number 27 and the second draw was won by Smiler (big, big smile) Wilesmith.
Wentworth Bowling Club members wish Frank Greyvenstein a speedy recovery. Get well soon Frank.
