A petrol station shop cashier in Kenyon Howden Road was robbed at gunpoint on Thursday, 16 October.
At about 9.25pm the man was approached by a robber who wanted cash from the till. The robber pulled out a 9mm pistol and put the cash in an orange bag and left the shop.
In another incident a man was robbed at a shop in South Coast Road, Clairwood on Sunday, 19 October.
The shop attendant was approached by a man who wanted airtime. The man produced a gun and told the shop attendant to lie on the floor. Another robber then entered the shop and collected cash, airtime and cigarettes. The robbers fled the shop on foot.
