THE Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) revealed they will announce the results of the Local Government Elections at 18:00 today (November 8). This confirmation comes with the IEC having less than 16 voting districts left to count and verify.

Winning parties of the Durban South

According to the IEC’s results dashboard, the DA have taken Wards 64, 66 and 68. This win marks a second straight win for the blue party in the Durban South after winning all three wards in the 2021 Local Government Elections.
