Public to view draft of beach upgrade plans

Beach upgrade plans finally ready for public viewing.

THE second round of public consultation meetings relating to the Durban South beach upgrade plans has finally been confirmed by the municipality.

Thirteen months after the first set of meetings in October 2013, members of the public are invited to attend meetings on the Bluff, in Wentworth and Merebank later this month.

At the meetings, the municipality and consultants will present a proposed draft plan to the communities.

The first two meetings will run from 6.30pm to 9pm at the Austerville community hall on Tuesday, 25 November and Merebank community hall on Wednesday, 26 November and the third is at the Bluff National Park Golf Course on Thursday, 27 November from 6pm to 8.30pm.
