UPDATE: Dog rescued from snake-filled pool
Snakes removed from Bluff pool after dog rescued.
THREE bush snakes, two heralds and a night adder were removed from the pool in which a dog was trapped this morning at a Bluff home.
After the rescue of the dog, Bluff snake wrangler, Shaun Venter and his brother, Warren, returned to the pool and removed the snakes and released them in a safe area. Venter has also confirmed the dog is doing well.
Venter was alerted to the dog in distress by Debbie Andre and they were both assisted in the rescue by a local resident named Sarah. “The Bluff is fortunate to have some amazing, caring people,” said Venter.
