Vehicle crashes into Montclair home
"I heard tyres and a bang. When I came outside I saw the car in my neighbours yard."

A MONTCLAIR resident crashed into the gate of a home in Kenyon Howden Road Montclair on Tuesday, 20 January.
At about 9am, the woman who did not wish to be named drove to the shop with her son to buy airtime.
While driving down Kenyon Howden Road the woman swerved her Toyota Fortuner to avoid hitting a child running in the road. “The road was wet from the rain. When I crashed into the gate the car kept moving,” she said. The Toyota hit the wall of the home and came to rest in the yard next door. Thokozile Mabaso recalled the incident: “I heard tyres and a bang. When I came outside I saw the car in my neighbours yard,” said Mabaso. The driver’s 18-year-old son was taken to hospital to be treated for whiplash.
