Three arrested for Bluff shooting incident

Three of four men who shot at two others were arrested a day later.

THREE men were arrested and one is still at large after they assaulted and shot at two people on Bluff Road in the early hours of Sunday, 18 January.

While entering a well-known entertainment venue at about 5.15am to fetch some friends, two people were allegedly attacked by four men. The pair managed to escape unharmed, despite being shot at while they ran towards a nearby Caltex petrol station.

Two Glock pistols with live ammunition were found and have been sent for ballistic testing. The men appeared in the Durban Regional Court on Wednesday, 21 January and were released on bail. They were released on bail and are expected to reappear in court on Tuesday, 27 January.
