Beachfront boardwalk is in a disgusting condition

EDITOR – I walk every Sunday morning on the Durban beachfront between Suncoast and Blue Lagoon..

I have noticed the disgusting conditions of the boardwalk, picnic areas and parking lots..

Filth, broken and empty beer bottles, rubbish, open fires and leftover food is strewn all over this area and people are still partying, drunk and adding to the mess of this ‘suppose to be’ tourist attraction of the city of Durban.

I have no words to express my utter disgust and disappointment at the condition of this area..

Is this what our city, country and province is becoming.

Something drastic needs to be done to combat this or else our city is going to become a place of filth and deterioration.
