Bluff church to host Sunflower Fund fundraiser

On the day the various Youth Group's from Churches on the Bluff and surrounding areas will be a part of the entertainment and worship team.

MEMBERS of Bread of Life Ministries AFM Church on the Bluff will host a Sunflower Fund fundraiser on Saturday, 31 October from 2pm to 4pm.

The main focus of the event is to bring hope, shine a light and bring about awareness with respect to leukaemia sufferers.

“As a church we want to restore the hope in those who are directly impacted by leukaemia and make others in the community aware of the process in which bone marrow is extracted, what leukaemia is and who it can affect,” said Thobile Khumalo, pastor at AFM Church. “We believe that knowledge can beat and prevent cancer which is an illness that plagues our community,” continued Pastor Khumalo.

On the day, the various youth groups from churches on the Bluff and surrounding areas will be part of the entertainment and worship team. Entry is granted by buying a Sunflower bandana for R25. AFM Church can be found at 27 Winchelsea Road, Bluff.

For more information on the event, contact pastor Khumalo on 076-401-4518 or senior pastor Siva Pillay on 076-751-3315.
