13 injured in late night crash
One of the injured that was in the bakkie involved, was ejected from his seat leaving him with critical injuries.
THIRTEEN people were injured after a collision at the corner of Tara Road and Quality Street in Wentworth, on a late Monday night, 23 December.
Rescue Care paramedics found two vehicles had collided. One of the injured who was in a bakkie, was ejected from his seat leaving him with critical injuries. He was stabilised and was placed on a manual ventilator before being rushed to a nearby hospital.
The remaining 12 people were also stabilised before being taken to hospital.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision, however authorities were on scene and will be investigating further.
