A WOODLANDS man has been arrested on for the 14 December murder of his own brother..
The case, which was treated as an inquest docket at first, was investigated by Montclair SAPS detective W/O Rico Naidoo who took it into a new direction of murder. According to the report, around 2am on that fateful night the deceased’s family moved him to his room where he died and at the time, the cause of his death could not be ascertained. After a thorough investigation, W/O Naidoo established that the deceased man was assaulted by his own brother, which led to his death.
The brother was arrested and detained on 28 January. He was charged with murder and appeared in court on Monday, 1 February. The arrest was made by W/O Naidoo along with W/O Tiger Ramsamy, Cst Mo Habeeb and Brighton Beach intelligence members.
