SATURDAY, 1 June saw the continuation of the men’s inter club league, with the three Durban Wanderers teams travelling away to Hillcrest, Wentworth and the Bluff respectively.

Mixed results were obtained with the first side losing 2-5, second side winning 4-3 and the third side losing 5-0. There is a league break until Saturday, 22 June, with the All Natal Fours taking place in between. Sunday, 2 June saw a few local sides travel to Hillary to support the monthly shirts and skirts. Wonkie Somtseu, Jeff Bolt, Robbie Philogene and Aileen Ramsden picked up the second session with a 2+13.

Firwood’s Joe Ailworth and Wanderers members Thomas Simpkins, Robbie Spiller and Val McCaffrey also found the correct weight and grass and secured an eight in the first session. The R600 snowball was a carry over as Barry Turk was not present.

The Friday Lotto was a R350 carry over as no one guessed the correct three numbers drawn. The Joker draw will commence soon, watch this space. Contact the club on 031-462-2320 or pop-in for further enquiries.
