Bowlers score points at inter club league games
Friday, 28 June, sees DJ Tyrone return from 7pm until late

SATURDAY, 22 June, saw the last round of the men’s inter club league take place at Wanderers Bowling Club.
All three sides secured some points with the first side scoring a 3-4 versus Parkhill, the second side secured a 5-2 win versus Westville and the third side scoring a 2-3 versus Firwood.
Unofficial results received from other league clubs should see the first side finish sixth, the second side finish eighth and the third side finish ninth in their various divisions. Sunday, 23 June, saw the men’s Port Natal trips take place. Richard Hendicott, Anthony Carr and Robbie Carr had home ground advantage, but did not progress to the next round. Steve van Rooyen, Paul White and Dave le Roux lost their section on a count out and the side of Wonkie Somtseu, Thomas Simpkins and Robbie Spiller were also knocked out.
Friday’s various meat pack winners were: lamb pack – Robin Grobler, beef – Thomas Simpkins, pork roast – Robin Grobler, beef roast – Troy Simpkins, chicken pack – Des Demmer, chicken – Barbara Neill.
The R600 snowball was won by Trish Overington. The Friday lotto was a R400 carry over as no one guessed the correct three numbers drawn. Friday, 28 June, sees DJ Tyrone return from 7pm until late, come and join the club for some great music.
Samantha’s Kitchen is closed on Mondays, but you can order off her extensive menu every other day, contact her for further info on 081-486-7039. The club’s function rooms – tavern, upstairs and downstairs are now fully renovated and available for hire. The two squash courts also have some unallocated time slots for members and non-members.
