No solution to Covid-19 screenings for Bluff residents

They were told they do not need to be screened nor tested and was sent away.

EDITOR – I was reading the complaint that was in the latest issue of your paper (22 May).
On Monday, 18 May, the department of health team came to Peacehaven Place and set up stands opposite Arcadia Old Age Home and encouraged occupants in Pengelly Flats and Arcadia to be screened and tested.
This sounds positive seeing them there, but it was only a cover up to show the public that they care. What happened will be a shock to everyone.
I live in Pengelly Flats so I told my wife to go and get screened and tested along with our neighbours. Health workers requested to see your ID book or card and took note of address and cell phone number.
The next thing was very disappointing. They were told they do not need to be screened nor tested and was sent away.
The minister of health must look into this serious matter.
