Lorraine who is a journalist, author and editor said she was both honoured and thrilled to receive the award.

“For me, an inspiring woman is simply a woman who can fill someone with the desire or urge to do something worthwhile. A woman, who lives her life free from definitions, constraints and attachment to generally accepted ideas and stereotypes of beauty and success. There are many such women out there, and I am honoured to be recognised as one of them,” said Lorraine.
