[LETTER] Misleading information creates confusion
It is sad that this should be the circumstance in our country.
EDITOR – Your issue of October 8, page 2, refers.
In his article, Simphiwe Mzimba, ANC candidate for ward 64, states that the ANC “is the only non-racial political organisation in the country, and he plans to unite the community.”
This is untrue, since the ANC has in place and enforces, policies of affirmative action, BEE, RET, EWC and sports quotas, all of which discriminate on the basis of race. This proves that they are in fact, the most racial organisation in our country.
Further, as long as these policies are in place, the community (the people of South Africa) will never be united, as the present government ensures that there are prescribed divisions among the citizens.

This is not to denigrate Mzimba, but to enlighten readers on the situation that exists.
