Woodlands resident at her wits end about excessive noise [LETTER]
If you live in Woodlands and the noise bothers you, help Lindiwe pin point the origin thereof.

EDITOR – There is a noise that is around Woodlands all the time and I was convinced that it is coming from one of the big firms in Leicester Road, but unfortunately not.
Gavin Hegter assisted with the contact person from the Department of Environmental Affairs and we got stuck, because we cannot pinpoint where exactly the noise is coming from. I have written to almost every fi rm in Leicester Road and they’ve confirmed the noise is not from them.
I know I am not the only one affected by the noise. I would like to appeal to the community of Woodlands, Fairbridge, Halifax and Bathurst roads affected or not to please assist if they have any idea where the noise could be coming from.
The noise could be coming from one of the firms in South Coast Road and maybe the firm is not aware that the residents are affected by this.
If there’s anyone that can assist us to pin point exactly where the noise is coming from, I would greatly appreciate it.
LINDIWE
