Wentworth police sensitise community on GBV and gun violence
The joint effort allowed law enforcement officials to interact with the community and stress the importance of reporting these crimes.

The Wentworth SAPS social crime prevention team together with the Wentworth Victim Friendly Centre launched an awareness programme at the Lansdowne Road flats by distributing pamphlets on gender-based violence (GBV), HIV/Aids and gun violence.
The joint effort allowed law enforcement officials to interact with the community and stress the importance of reporting these crimes. The programme was well received by members of the community.
