Cast your vote – Durban ICC voted world’s best
The Durban ICC is calling on the community to cast their votes to help them be recognised for excellence in the Meetings, Incentive, Conference and Exhibition (MICE) Awards.
A LOCAL landmark, the Durban International Convention Centre (Durban ICC), has come under the spotlight with a recent nomination.
The iconic centre has been nominated as South Africa’s Best Convention Centre in the 4th annual World MICE Awards which recognises excellence in ‘Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibition’ tourism worldwide.
Voting for the World MICE Awards began on June 7, and the community can add their voice to the vote until August 25. This period also allows industry professionals to cast their votes and have a say in determining the winners of these highly regarded awards.

The winners will be announced at the World MICE Awards Gala Ceremony 2023, scheduled to take place in Doha, Qatar, on November 21, 2023. This grand event will bring together industry leaders, decision-makers, and key stakeholders from around the world to celebrate excellence in the MICE sector.

The Durban ICC is known for its world-class facilities and service – the centre has previously been recognised with multiple accolades. These include the esteemed titles of ‘South Africa’s Best Convention Centre’ from 2020 to 2022, as well as ‘Africa’s Best Convention Centre’ in 2020 and 2021.
