Brighton Beach Police to host festive season awareness workshop

At the workshop, there will be displays by medical services, the police and security companies.

RESIDENTS are urged to attend the Brighton Beach police’s festive season education and awareness workshop set to take place at 87 Tara Road (old boxing club), on November 4, between 13:00 and 16:30.

Captain Louise le Roux, the station’s spokesperson, said the objective of the workshop is to support families by creating a higher level of alertness to the threats they may encounter during the festive season.

Some of the activities that the public can look forward to include static displays by security companies, medical services and the police.

There will also be various presentations on child safety, lifesaving tips, mental health and wellness and crime prevention.
