Judge Nicholson, a celebrated author and public speaker, has penned several award-winning books, including the notable Who Killed Chris Hani? Jeeven Padayachee, who sits on the fair’s committee, said, “His presence at the Merebank Fair is a significant achievement, thanks to the efforts of Anivesh Singh of Micromega Publications.”

The conversation with Judge Nicholson will take place from 14:30 to 15:15, providing a unique opportunity for the public to gain insights into his extensive research and writing. This event is a rare chance to interact with a prominent figure whose work has had a profound impact on South African history and literature.

The Merebank Fair organisers are particularly encouraging teachers, especially those from secondary schools, to bring their learners to this enlightening session. It is an excellent opportunity for learners to engage with a distinguished author and gain a deeper understanding of South Africa’s rich and complex history.
