A full house of fun at Yellowwood Park Sports Club’s bingo night
Yellowwood Park residents gathered for a fun evening of friendly banter and competition at the club’s monthly bingo night.
YELLOWWOOD Park Sports Club came alive with laughter and friendly competition at its lively bingo night on May 28. Erika Smith, organiser of the event, said the evening yet again showed why the club’s bingo nights are a crowd favourite.

Smith said that bingo night has been a long-time tradition at club dating back almost 10 to 15 years ago.
“It’s a great way to support our local clubs, enjoy a fun evening out and bring in some revenue for the club,” said Smith.
The evening consisted of a mix of rounds of bingo, ranging from full house to row rounds, with some beautiful gifts to be won. Treating the winners were wine bottles, chocolate glasses, coffee cups, biscuits and cappuccino sachets. Carol Carstens was the overall top winner, who won two rounds.
Smith encouraged community members to join in the club’s growing tradition and join in their monthly bingo nights that are now held on the first Wednesday of every month starting in June. “Everyone is welcome to attend, even if you’re not a member of the club,” she added.
If bingo night is not your forte, the club also hosts quiz nights as well and the next one will take place on June 18.
