A NEWBORN baby has been found abandoned in a black refuse bag at a park under the bridge between Junagarth and Rawalpindi Road this evening (August 25).

Nick Datadin of PT Alarms confirmed that all emergency personnel are on scene.

“Wentworth police is on scene awaiting detectives to arrive and take over,” said Datadin.

The circumstances surrounding the baby’s abandonment are still not known.
