Search continues for man missing at Treasure Beach

Renegades Search and Rescue is appealing to members of the public to assist the family in finding the missing man.

AN urgent search is underway for a 46-year-old Dominic Saunders who went missing at Treasure Beach on October 5.

Renegades Search and Rescue is urgently appealing to every fisherman, lifeguard, beach manager, boat operator, beachgoer and member of the public who was along Treasure Beach on Monday to assist in locating the missing man.

Saunders had gone to Transhaven, Treasure Beach to fish at about 12:30. According to Dawn Gounden for Renegades Search and Rescue, when Saunders arrived at the beach he decided to enter the water for a swim.

“His friend had lost sight of him, and he could not be located. Dominic was wearing check shorts and has multiple tattoos throughout his body. A missing persons report has been opened at Wentworth police station,” said Gounden.

People who might have information, photographs or video footage regarding Dominic’s movements are urged to contact Dawn Gounden of Renegades Search and Rescue on 074 712 5855.
