This serves as the proof that application notice has been served on a person, over the age of sixteen years, and who is in control of the households or business entities surrounding and adjacent to the proposed liquor outlet in terms of section 28(1)(c) (i). Further that an application for a liquor licence will be lodged with the Sekhukhune Local Liquor Authority. The community members may lodge an objection to the application in terms of section 28(2)(b) of the Act. The objection form is obtainable from the above-mentioned Local Liquor Authority: The objections must be submitted to the aforesaid Local Liquor Authority
within 21 days from
the date of lodgement.
