NOTICE OF ENVIRONMENTAL AUTHORISATION APPLICATION FOR A BULK SEWER OUTFALL UPGRADE DFFE NO: TO BE CONFIRMED Notice of Environmental Authorisation Application in terms of the National Environmental Management Act, Act 107 of 1998 as amended and the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations 2014 as amended lodged with the National Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE). Thevha Sustainable Services (Pty) Ltd was appointed by 2MC Consulting Engineers on behalf of the City of Ekurhuleni to conduct a Basic Assessment Report (BAR) process in terms of Regulations 19 to 20 of Chapter 4 of the EIA Regulations for the proposed capacity upgrade of sewer pipeline within Van Dyk Park Township, City of Ekurhuleni, Gauteng province. Project Locality: The sewerline transverses properties identified as RE/74/114, RE/60/114, & RE/344/114 of Farm Finaalspan 114 IR. The project forms part of the Van Dyk Park / Boksburg bulk municipal services network. The proposed alignment interfaces with developed residential areas, roads, railway infrastructure, servitudes and portions of open field land. Triggered Activities: The Environmental Authorisation Application will include the following listed activities as per EIA Regulations 2014 as amended: LN1: Activity 10, 12 and 46 and LN3: Activity 12 and 14.
