NOTICE OF CONSULTATION PERTAINING TO A PROSPECTING RIGHT APPLICATION (WITHOUT BULK SAMPLING), AND ENVIRONMENTAL AUTHORISATION (EA`) IN SUPPORT OF PROSPECTING ACTIVITIES OVER PORTIONS (01, 02, 03, 05, 06, 12, 13, AND THE REMAINDER OF THE FARM LEEUWENFONTEIN 248 IR, SITUATED WITHIN THE MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT OF NIGEL IN GAUTENG PROVINCE. DMPR REF NO: DMR REF NO: GP30/5/1/1/2(11065)PR Liminality Gold Investments (Pty) Ltd wishes to give notice in terms of Regulation 16 of the MPRD Act, 2002 (Act 28 of 2002), the National Environmental Management Act 107 of 1998 (NEMA) and the National Environmental Management Laws Amendment Act 2 of 2022 for the proposed Coal, Copper Ore, Gold Ore, Silver Ore and Uranium Ore Exploration Project over Portions (01. 02, 03, 05, 06, 12, 13, and the remainder of the Farm Leeuwenfontein 248 IR, situated within the Magisterial District of Nigel in Gauteng Province. Willow Tree Capital and Biomental Environmental Consulting will be conducting a public participation process, as well as Environmental Impact Assessment Study (EIA), for the purpose of compilation of Basic Assessment Report , including Environmental Management Programme , in accordance with the National Environmental Management Act (No 107 of 1998) and the National Environmental Management Laws Amendment Act 2 of 2022. An application for a Prospecting Right covering above listed minerals, in terms of Section 16 of the MPRD Act was submitted and such application has been accepted by the DMPR – Gauteng Region (Braamfontein) Regional Manager on the 25th of September 2026 with Reference Number: GP30/5/1/1/2(11065)PR.
