NOTICE OF A WATER USE LICENCE APPLICATION
(In terms of Section 25(2) and Section 41(4) of the National Water Act, 1998 (Act No. 36 of 1998) Notice is hereby given that Defacto Investments 91 (Pty) Ltd has applied for a Water Use Licence as follows:
Project Title: Transfer of Water from the Remaining Extent (Portion 0) of the Farm Kamp 438-JU to Portion 5 of the Farm Nil Desperandum 419-JU (Ref WU50947)
Project Description: WULA for the transfer of 128 340 m3/a of existing irrigation water from the Komati River historically allocated to the Remaining Extent of the Farm Kamp 438-JU, to Portion 5 of the Farm Nil Desperandum 419-JU, for irrigation. The volume applied for is the balance of the 30 ha (298 500 m/a) transfer, of which 170 160 m/a was authorised under Licence No. 05/X13K/A/13181.

Section 25 (2): Transfer of a water use entitlement
Section 21(a): Taking of water from a water resource (Komati River)
Location: Portion 5 of the farm Nil Desperandum 419-JU (receiving property) and the Remaining Extent of the farm Kamp 438-JU (transferring property), Komatipoort, Nkomazi Local Municipality in the Ehlanzeni District Municipality, Mpumalanga Province
