EDITOR – As far as the rat infestation subject goes (see Southlands Sunday edition of 9 August), I can well agree with all who have a concern regarding this.
It is a fact that the Bluff is suffering from an infestation. I have attached a picture of one of the numerous rats our dogs have caught.
Not only have the dogs caught some rats, but we have placed rat poison around our property on numerous occasions. This has killed maybe one or two rats at a time but we still have a problem. These rats pose a health risk to everyone on the Bluff. It’s high time that something gets done about this.
